SCHEDULE / FOR OFFICIAL LINCOLN MEMORIAL CENTENNIAL MUSIC AMBASSADORS

Lincoln Memorial Centennial

DAY 1 - THU

Arrival Day - You will be welcomed to our Nation's Capital as an official participant of the Lincoln Memorial Centennial Commemoration by a member of our team.

This afternoon, you will visit the Smithsonian Museums and learn of the History that forged our Great Nation.

After exploring the museums and dinner, we will meet the bus for transfer to our Hotel for check in and overnight.

DAY 3 - FRI

This day you will learn of the final hours of Abraham Lincoln. We will visit Ford's Theatre where the President was struck by an assassins' bullet and the Peterson House, where Lincoln Died. 

This afternoon we will feature you performing ensemble in a stand alone concert at one of Washington D.C.'s Monuments and Memorials. 

This evening you will visit the National Archives to see first hand our nation's founding documents including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. There will be time to visit the Halls of the Smithsonian Museum for more exploring prior to returning to our hotel for overnight.

DAY 3 - SAT​

Performance Day - You will join other outstanding performing ensembles for an unforgettable celebration marking the 100th Anniversary of the dedication of the Iconic Lincoln Memorial. This Centennial Ceremony and Concert will be a fitting salute to the ideals this beautiful memorial stands for. Liberty, Freedom and Hope are imbedded in the hearts and minds of all those who visit this historic site. 

Today you will also visit Arlington National Cemetery and enjoy a Banquet Dinner Cruise on the Potomac River.

DAY 4 - SUN

Following Hotel Checkout you will depart Washington DC for home. You may decide to take in some additional sightseeing such as the National Zoo, Holocaust Museum, The National Cathedral or Mount Vernon.
